What's the most popular thing in the old age home? You know. Old Yeh loves to play God and calls a man whose foot is already in heaven: "Heaven has no quotas for now, keep fighting through the days." He takes pride in becoming a life-extension angel, but the heavens have other plans for this machine genius. The dying friend's wife encourages him to invent a death machine, and those in the know even blackmail Old Yeh to help fulfill his wife's dream of euthanasia. Old Yeh, resembling Yama, forms a death squad, and his virtuous deeds resonate throughout the old age home. Self-help and mutual support have always been the trump cards against fate; the two directors handle serious matters with ease, using blackness and absurdity to impact the ruthless moral quarantine zone. Winner of Best Film at the Valladolid International Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Venice Film Festival.
