This film is a remake of the 1972 movie, originally depicting the extraordinary experiences of the thief Doc McCoy, who abides by a code of honor and is a man of his word. In the 1994 version, the role of the thief's wife, Carol, is emphasized; she is no longer merely her husband's subordinate but a co-conspirator who wields weapons. To prevent her husband from going to prison, she is willing to do whatever it takes. For instance, when she learns that the robbery is highly challenging but that the condition allows Doc to escape prison time, she decides to take on the challenge. However, once they obtain the money, she realizes that the real risk begins the moment they try to escape the scene...
