Paine (voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr.) is an inconspicuous little fish, but in reality, he hails from the elite naval forces of Boston. In an accident, Paine tragically lost his parents, and in his sorrow, he decides to leave his sad place behind and venture alone to the Caribbean coast. 　During his journey, Paine meets the supermodel Cordelia (voiced by Evan Rachel Wood), and the two little fish quickly hit it off and become a couple.
