In the late Yuan Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang led a rebellion against the Yuan Dynasty's rule. His subordinate, Shen Tiansong, attempted to present Zhu's troop deployment map to the Mongol prince Li Chakan. Li Chakan brought skilled fighters to Shaanxi to make contact with him, while anti-Yuan patriots and the owner of the Spring Pavilion inn in Shaanxi, a charming figure, discussed strategies. They disguised themselves, prepared for action, and set a trap to catch the traitor and recover the troop deployment map. Li Chakan also stayed at the Spring Pavilion inn, and Shen Tiansong was captured alive after presenting the map. The female hero, Hei Mudan, went to steal the troop deployment map from Li Chakan but mistakenly took another document; her accomplice, Xiao Lajiao, was killed while trying to return the document. After Li Chakan discovered the situation, he personally checked it, leading to a battle of wits and strength between the two sides, culminating in a fierce fight.
