16-year-old girl student Peipei (played by Huang Yao) comes from a single-parent family. Her city is both Hong Kong and Shenzhen; she studies in Hong Kong during the day and returns to Shenzhen to live with her mother (played by Ni Hongjie) at night, frequently shuttling between the two places. In order to fulfill her promise to travel with her best friend Joe (played by Tang Jiawen), to seek her own sense of existence, and due to her innocent feelings for Joe's boyfriend Ahao (played by Sun Yang), her inner impulses are ignited.
