14-year-old Jason (played by Frankie Muniz) is handsome, smart, and talented, showcasing exceptional writing skills at a young age. One day, he discovers that his homework has been secretly stolen by Hollywood producer Marty (played by Paul Giamatti) and turned into the movie "Big Fat Liar." Not only that, but the film has become a huge success thanks to its excellent script. Watching his hard work being taken from him, Jason decides to take action. He teams up with his best friend Kelly (played by Amanda Bynes), and the two head to Hollywood. Facing the two young kids determined to confront him, the highly esteemed Marty in Hollywood brushes them off. However, underestimating others can lead to consequences, and soon, Jason and Kelly show Marty that they are not to be messed with.
