The film is based on the creation and birth of the Shaanxi folk song "The Pastoral Life," telling a pure yet tortuous love story between the protagonist Zhang Deyi and Ma Cuicui. Zhang Deyi, who embodies the spirit of "The Pastoral Life," is deeply loyal to his brothers, while Ma Cuicui, the daughter of the fallen village official Ma Guixiang, is skilled and virtuous. Meanwhile, the deadline for repaying the debt is approaching...
