The film is based on true events, revealing the reality of the world where fairy tales do not exist. Only by starting to discern can we find a way to curb crime. Lawyer Zhang Zhengxu (played by Zhang Xiaoquan) is commissioned in a shocking sexual assault case involving a famous tutor, and discovers that the suspect, Tang Shicheng (played by Li Kangsheng), is actually his client from when he first started practicing law.
