On the vast and hot African savannah, a blue eaglet named Aki (voiced by Jeremy Suarez) soars freely in the sky. He has undergone rigorous training from his father (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson), and now the little guy, with his fully developed wings, longs to become a flying expert who surpasses his father. Aki is tired of the barren Katum Valley and does not want to spend his life as a lizard hunter merely grinding for a living; he yearns for an exciting adventure. One day, the weary saddle-billed stork, Gogo, passes by Aki's home with a few newly hatched green-headed weaver birds. From them, Aki learns about the existence of Bird City Zambisia, and he can't help but be captivated. The variety of feathered companions and the hurricane warriors who defend Zambisia all give Aki reason to embark on his journey. Along the way, the path is filled with twists and hardships, but nothing can prevent a child from growing up...
