The southern schools of martial arts in our country have a long history, among which Yongspring Kung Fu, represented by its disciple Liang Zhan (played by Leung Ka Yan) from Foshan, is well-known. He is skilled in medicine, a righteous man, and has a great reputation in the countryside. Liang Zhan has a disciple, Fei Chun (played by Sammo Hung), who is simple-minded and often bullied. Fei Chun's friend Zhao Qianhua (played by Casava) works as a cashier at Mo's Bank and is known for standing up for others. One day, a group of vicious thugs arrives in Foshan to meet with the boss of Mo's Bank, Mo Laoqing. They plan to kill the town mayor to seize power, but Zhao Qianhua overhears their plot. He informs the mayor but is discovered by Mo Laoqing's gang, leading to the death of his elderly mother and leaving Zhao Qianhua severely injured, lucky to be rescued by Fei Chun. Worried that Liang Zhan might intervene, Mo Laoqing refrains from taking action, while Zhao Qianhua seeks revenge and, with Fei Chun's help, becomes Liang Zhan's disciple to master Yongspring in order to avenge his deep-seated grievances. A confrontation between good and evil is about to unfold...
