The Gambler, played by Andy Lau, possesses the lifelong skills of the God of Gamblers. He returns to the world of gambling with Long Wu (played by Xiang Huaqiang) by his side, dedicating his talents to charitable causes in the name of his master, thus earning the title of "Gambler." After encountering A Xing (played by Stephen Chow), who aspires to be the disciple of the God of Gamblers, the two engage in a battle of wits and skills, ultimately reaching a stalemate. Hussein (played by Shen Lixin), seeking revenge for his adoptive father Chen Jincheng, who was defeated by the God of Gamblers, scams wealthy Southeast Asians under the banner of the God of Gamblers aboard a gambling boat to tarnish his reputation. He also kidnaps Long Wu and Uncle (played by Ng Man-tat) to keep Daozi from revealing his true identity. In order to protect the God of Gamblers' reputation, Daozi and A Xing use their gambling skills and special abilities to collaborate in a battle of intelligence against Hussein at the gambling table.
