The story takes place in Czechia, where Nona (played by Deana Horváthová) is an ordinary woman. By chance, Nona meets a nurse named Esther (played by Dagmar Veskrnová), who tells Nona that her former lover was a party member who, after the failure of the revolution, chose to commit suicide out of despair. Nona is pregnant, but when she shares this good news with her boyfriend, he chooses to evade and retreat. At that moment, it's Esther who reaches out to help Nona and takes her in when she has nowhere to go. The first thing the two women want to do to survive is to find ways to make money. They come up with many schemes, and ultimately, they make a large sum by selling the artworks of Esther's deceased lover. Thus, the two women, like flowers at the end of their road, embark on a path of no return.
