Father James is a good priest, devout and upright. One day, during confession, a man tells James that he will kill him simply because he has never done anything wrong. He has one week to become spiritually unified with God, while James cares for all kinds of fallen, helpless people. He visits these individuals — perhaps he will find the suspect among them.
