Dai Shimiaow (played by Ke Jiayan) is an exchange student from Japan studying in Taiwan. She becomes friends with the cheerful and lively Xiao Ai (played by Zhang Rongrong). Miaomiao searches for the cake shop from her grandmother's first love, only to find it has turned into a second-hand CD store, run by a young man who always wears headphones and doesn't communicate with others. Unbeknownst to her, she is drawn to him, and the carefree Xiao Ai devises clever plans to help Miaomiao find out his name and phone number. This man, named Chen Fei (played by Fan Zhiwei), is a mystery from the past, and Miaomiao is determined to step into his world, while Xiao Ai suddenly feels a sense of loss. As Chen Fei's story unfolds, both girls experience the pain of heartbreak. Loving someone but unable to express it leaves an indescribable mark during their youth. When Xiao Ai's 18th birthday approaches, everyone goes to the beach to celebrate; even though their hearts ache, there is still much to look forward to in the future.
