Orion seems like an ordinary elementary school student — shy, humble, and secretly in love. But beneath his seemingly normal exterior, Orion is a bundle of adolescent anxieties, completely consumed by irrational fears stemming from bees, dogs, the ocean, cell phone waves, menacing clowns from gutters, and even the fear of falling off cliffs. Among all his fears, the one he dreads most is the darkness he faces every night. And his greatest fear has materialized: the darkness takes Orion on a roller coaster ride around the world to prove that there’s nothing to fear at night. As this peculiar duo grows closer, Orion must decide whether he can learn to embrace the unknown, break free from fear's control over his life, and embrace the joy of living.
