Luke (Logann Antuofermo) is an ordinary young man from a small town who goes to Paris to study. There, he meets a beautiful woman named Jamila (Oulaya Amamra), and they quickly develop a romantic relationship. In fact, Luke has a long-time girlfriend back home named Jeanne (Louise Chevillotte). When Luke returns home, he gradually distances himself from Jamila, rekindling his old romance with Jeanne, who is also pregnant with his child. A letter of acceptance means Luke must leave Jeanne and return to Paris to continue his studies. He abandons Jeanne and enters a new relationship with a girl named Bessie (Souheila Yacoub).
