Adrian (Mario Casas) runs a technology company, thriving in his career with a beautiful and virtuous wife and a lively and adorable daughter at home. He is the envy of others for having both a successful career and family. However, ambitious Adrian does not cherish this hard-earned life and has maintained a physical relationship with a photographer named Laura (Bárbara Lennie). One day, after a secret meeting, they drive away from the villa but have a car accident on the way. To cover up the truth of the incident, they decide to sink the car along with the young man, Daniel, who died in the accident to the bottom of the lake. Afterwards, Laura encounters a kind old man who takes her damaged car home to repair it. However, Laura does not expect that this old man is actually Daniel's father.
