Sheng Qin (played by Ai Liya) has a father, Mr. Sheng (played by Wang Deshun), who suffers from Alzheimer's disease and deteriorates to the point of being unable to care for himself. To take care of her father's daily needs, Sheng Qin hires a nanny named Mianhua (played by Yan Bingyan). Although Mr. Sheng's memory diminishes day by day, he remains fixated on his wife, who passed away many years ago. Shortly after Mianhua starts her job, Mr. Sheng often mistakes her for his wife, leading to numerous troubles, and Mianhua's character also comes under scrutiny from Sheng Qin. As time passes, a special trust builds between Mianhua and Mr. Sheng.
