Nat (played by Amitabh Bachchan) is a ghost who cannot scare humans and is often terrified by children, leading to ridicule from other ghosts. The ghost king decides to give Nat one last chance; he must come to the human world and scare 20 children to complete his task. If he fails, he will be expelled from the underworld. So, Nat arrives in the human world and fortunately meets a timid boy named Akhekhrot (played by Parth Bhalerao), whom Nat successfully scares. However, an inexplicable friendship develops between the human and the ghost. Their common enemy is a politician named Bahau (played by Boman Irani), who manipulates the public with ruthless tactics to get elected, causing fear among the people.
