Bernstein (Jon Hamm) is a sports agent whose career faces constant setbacks in this competitive industry. Eventually, he decides to team up with scout Ray (Alan Arkin) and travel to India, using it as their last battleground. In India, the two plan a reality show called "Million Dollar Arm," aimed at discovering aspiring pitchers with talent among ordinary people. They ultimately recruit two young boys, Dinesh (Madhur Mittal) and Rinku (Suraj Sharma). Bernstein then brings them back to the United States, subjecting them to intense and high-pressure training. However, the unfamiliar surroundings and rigorous training leave the two impoverished boys struggling to adapt and unable to showcase their true abilities. Nevertheless, Bernstein does not give up, as he has no backup plan.
