Teenager Faruk and his friends make a living helping the mafia until he meets middle-class girl Mona, leading to a romantic coming-of-age love story. The film hovers between a thriller and a fairy tale, interweaving dark reality with enchanting dreams, with painterly lighting and a soothing piano melody highlighting the young people's confusion and sorrow. Bosnian director Igor Drljaca uses a romantic love story as a shell to showcase the social atmosphere of post-war Sarajevo, along with the living conditions of different classes. The film was selected for the 2021 Berlin Film Festival’s Generation competition section.
