Is church life peaceful and harmonious? The bold little nuns not only form cliques, spy, and curse, but they go to extremes to relieve their boredom. The weak and timid priest can only turn a blind eye and pray that no major issues arise. One day, a handsome young man on the run after an affair with a princess seeks refuge in the church. To prevent the nuns from causing a commotion, the priest lies, claiming he is a new laborer who is both deaf and mute. However, faced with a handsome youth falling from the sky, the nuns, who are not easily swayed, are unlikely to let him go without a fight. The genius director behind “Zombies Are Not That Hot” strikes again with a sharp twist, featuring the handsome Dave Franco, who has gained fame in the “Now You See Me” series, alongside a host of female stars to create a crazy spectacle. The film vividly portrays that no matter how strict the church rules are, they cannot restrain people's yearning for freedom—more confinement only leads to more insanity. The film seems to parody medieval politics and religion while actually offering reflections relevant to today. Its biting satire feels like a modern reinterpretation of Pasolini's "Decameron."
