This is a film that explores the inner world of humans. It is an exploratory movie told entirely through audio-visual language, with no dialogue. The protagonist is named Gong Bao Dongzhu, who lives a nomadic life. Two grave robbers, obsessed with wealth, discover treasures in Gong Bao Dongzhu's family grave. To obtain the treasure, they deceive Gong Bao Dongzhu by any means necessary and destroy the local ecological environment. Gong Bao Dongzhu tries every possible way to protect the treasures in the grave as well as the sacred mountains and rivers. Eventually, when the two grave robbers attempt to blast minerals near the grave but mismanage their explosives, they end up killing themselves. Additionally, death is an eternal theme for humanity. The film portrays Gong Bao Dongzhu's thoughts on life and death after the passing of his wife and his journey towards understanding and accepting the essence of death, culminating in a wise integration of life and death.
