Directed by the hall-of-fame filmmaker Baz Luhrmann, known for "Moulin Rouge!" and "The Great Gatsby," along with the new generation heartthrob Austin Butler from "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" and Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks, the film compellingly and touchingly recreates the life of the late rock legend “Elvis” Presley. A formerly unknown country boy transforms into the phenomenal King of Rock and Roll; Elvis's extraordinary life begins the moment he steps onto the stage. Managed by Colonel Tom Parker (played by Tom Hanks), Elvis is thrust onto the path of international stardom, but the unprecedented fame and fortune, combined with societal and cultural shifts, lead him to a period of self-loss, creating a complicated and contradictory relationship between the two over more than 20 years. On this glamorous path to stardom, Elvis also meets the woman who has the deepest influence on him, Priscilla Presley (played by Olivia DeJonge). Numerous classic hits accompany mesmerizing dance moves, captivating fans and moviegoers alike.
