A lifetime spent on screen experiencing the separations of human life; approaching the age of seventy, yet unable to portray the moment of death on camera. Taking advantage of a filming break, a seasoned actor visits an old friend on the azure coast. Arriving at an abandoned mansion, he unexpectedly encounters a child with a camera filming a ghost story, evoking the connection of the boy from "The 400 Blows" (1959) with cinema in his early encounters. Dreaming of a reunion with a once-beautiful lover's soul, he rekindles a lifelong love remembered. As life draws to a close, he finally understands how to coexist with death. Suwa Atsuhiko’s love letter to the French New Wave lets Truffaut and Godard's beloved Jean-Pierre Léaud imprint past and present onto film. And he sings a dirge for the lion, transforming it into a tribute to life, accompanying dreams.
