The 9-year-old "Lionheart Bagel" suffers from tuberculosis and knows he will die soon. His brother, Lionheart Jonathan, died while saving others in a fire, and the younger brother later also passed away due to illness, going to a place called "South Polar Yule" in heaven. He meets his brother there, who continues to do good and eliminate evil, and later dies again, rising from heaven to an even higher world called "South Polar Lyle." The Lionheart brothers take on the mission of liberating Rose Valley, but the enemy is so powerful that they seem almost invincible. They go through various dangers and thrilling moments, and the timid Lionheart Bagel learns to overcome his fear in times of danger and bravely fights against evil. The protagonist of the story is a young boy named Skolban, who is weak and timid. His brother, Jonathan Lionheart, is brave, handsome, strong, and all-knowing, and he loves his younger brother deeply. When Skolban fears death, his brother tells him that after death, he will go to South Polar Yara, where he will immediately become healthy and strong, even becoming handsome. There, from morning till night, they can participate in adventures, and it is like a time of campfires and fairy tales. After a major fire at home, a white dove leads them to South Polar Yara, where Cherry Valley is like paradise, but the people living nearby in Rose Valley live in fear, under the tyranny of the tyrant Tenger, in a life of slavery without freedom. Thus, the Lionheart brothers bear the mission of freeing Rose Valley, but the enemy is so powerful that they seem almost unbeatable. They experience various dangers and thrilling moments and manage to liberate South Polar Yara from the tyrant Tenger and the demon Katra. However, in the end, the brother is burned by the flames of the evil dragon Katra (which is deadly)... How the timid Skolban overcomes his fear in times of danger and bravely fights against evil, as well as how they navigate challenges and ultimately achieve victory, can only be truly appreciated through reading. The old times freeze, long imprinted in the heart. A bit of confusion, a touch of inexplicable sadness. Like the first lesson in the morning, when the teacher babbles something, each word repeating "sleep, sleep," the classmates' faces distant and strange. Their eyes are blurry, not daring to fully bow their heads, awaiting a startled scream or a joke to come. Time seems to move extremely slowly, the class bell seemingly never ringing. A childhood, a magical warm dream world.
