This film brings to the screen the epic life of Edward Wilson, one of the founders of the Central Intelligence Agency. Edward Wilson (played by Matt Damon) is rooted in a sense of honor due to a childhood tragedy. In 1939, while studying at Yale University, he is recruited by the secret society "Skull and Bones," and soon after, he joins the Strategic Services during World War II. Wilson becomes a core member and creator of the intelligence agency. However, prolonged deception makes his naturally suspicious nature grow, and during the Cold War, his youthful ideals have been entirely worn away.
