French independent production company Gaumont will make a film about Celine Dion titled "The Power of Love," with a budget of $23 million. The film will feature several of Dion's classic songs, including "All by Myself," "My Heart Will Go On," and "I’m Alive." Directed by Valérie Lemercier (known for "Les Tuche" and "The May Fool"), who will also portray Dion. The film chronicles Dion's life from her birth and upbringing in Quebec in the 1960s to her rise to fame as a teenager, as well as her relationships with her manager, husband René Angélil, and family. The film will be released in France on December 2, 2020.
