For the residents of Southport, the arrival of Katie (Julianne Hough) is a significant event. Although this young and beautiful girl behaves politely and impeccably, speculation and doubts about her never cease. For Katie, the freedom and tranquility of Southport is a good place for healing. However, no matter how far one escapes, one cannot escape their past, and this is true for Katie as well. The more she tries to forget the terrible things that happened, the more she is haunted by those memories, so she understands that Southport is not a place for her to stay long. In Southport, Katie meets the handsome young man Alex (Josh Duhamel), whose gentle care shakes Katie’s determination to leave. With the warmth and companionship accumulating over time, the distance between the two young people grows closer. Can Alex's presence change Katie's fate?
