On a dense night, air conditioning repairman Wang Xueming (played by Eddie Peng) accidentally hits a man who suddenly rushes onto the road while driving home. To avoid accountability, he abandons the man by the roadside and leaves. The next day, the charming Liang Ma (played by Sylvia Chang) comes to a noisy police station to report her missing husband to Officer Chen (played by Wang Yanhui). Wang Xueming, who hears about this incident by chance, feels guilty and secretly damages Liang Ma's air conditioner. He then visits her under the pretense of fixing it, but finds himself tongue-tied in front of this woman who doesn't seem too sad.
