Company employee Rolando (played by Chen Baixiang) is a compulsive gambler and enjoys bragging. He falls in love at first sight with his new boss, Ah Hong (played by Ko Lei Hung), but has no chance to get close to her. Rolando and the company manager visit gambling king Sing Gor, and in a moment of impulsiveness, cause the king to lose money in a gambling game. Soon after, Rolando's older virgin friend Ah Fan (played by Fung Tsui Fan) is abandoned by his domineering girlfriend and is eager to settle down. The two head to the Philippines, where Ah Fan unexpectedly finds a docile Filipino girl as his wife, making a splash among their friends. Rolando also begins to pursue Ah Hong, but she declares her disdain for gamblers. Thus, Rolando vows to quit gambling and, after going through numerous challenges, he finally proves his sincerity to Ah Hong. However, it turns out that Ah Hong's father is the gambling king Sing Gor, and in order to gain Sing Gor's acceptance, Rolando has to return to the casino...
