Rani (played by Tanishta Chatterjee), Razia (played by Radhika Apte), and Bicholi (played by Surveen Chawla) are three women with vastly different personalities, brought together by the red thread of fate. Rani has accumulated enormous debt in order to organize a decent wedding for her son Gulab (played by Riddhi Sen), but Gulab squanders this hard-earned money on indulgence and entertainment. Razia is unable to conceive, and as a result, often suffers violence from her husband, leading a life of unbearable hardship. Bicholi was once the most popular performer in a troupe of wandering dancers, with countless patrons falling at her feet. However, after being drained of her last bit of resources by the madam, Bicholi must inevitably face the fate of being abandoned. On the day of the Dussehra festival, the three women unite and decide to escape their manipulated and tragic fates.
