Chen Jiaseng (Yin Yangming) and Zhou Qiguang (Lin Junxian) have been childhood friends, with a strong bond of friendship. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, both of them fall in love with a beautiful girl named Li Yulan, which strains their friendship. In the end, Li Yulan chooses Chen Jiaseng, and a dejected Zhou Qiguang leaves his hometown, distancing himself from the land that brings him sorrow.
