It mainly tells the story of Duanmu Xi (played by Jia Zhengyu), a Yang-Ming officer who uses his life to maintain the balance of Yin and Yang in the world, and Yang Jinghua (played by Meng Zidi), a ghost who died in a car accident, as they sign a lifelong contract as shadow spirits.
