In New York, two veteran detectives, Turk (played by Robert De Niro) and Rooster (played by Al Pacino), are a close-knit pair of old partners who have collectively dedicated 100 years to the police force. Turk has a short temper, while Rooster is more diplomatic. Recently, a serial killer has emerged in New York, and Turk and Rooster are assigned to investigate the case.
