The story takes place in a small village in India named Mandwa. Vijay (played by Hrithik Roshan) had a father who spent his life as a teacher, known for his integrity and kindness. However, this good man was framed by the local most ruthless and evil drug dealer, Kanchha (played by Sanjay Dutt). Enraged villagers lost their sanity and hanged Vijay’s father in front of Vijay and his mother. Thus, Vijay's life was completely changed. He and his mother left Mandwa and moved to Mumbai to start anew. The seed of anger had been sown; Vijay joined the local biggest gang in Mumbai. He ruthlessly climbed his way up, stepping over countless corpses and blood. Fifteen years passed in the blink of an eye, and Vijay had become the most cold-blooded assassin. He returned to Mandwa, ready to execute his grand revenge plan.
