The elementary school in Hope Village is in disrepair. Yang Gang, a businessman from the village, promised to sponsor 100,000 yuan. After careful consideration, the village head sends the honest and simple Steel Egg to the city to collect the donation. On the long-distance bus into the city, they encounter a group of foolish robbers and a desperate father, Lu Silin. Together, they manage to drive the robbers off the bus, and in the chaos, the belongings of Steel Egg and Lu Silin get swapped by mistake. After arriving in the city, Steel Egg collects the donation and heads to the bus station to return to the village. Along the way, he is robbed of the donation by three foolish thieves, prompting him to track down their whereabouts. After several twists and turns, he finds the thieves' hideout.
