The story follows Guanyu (played by Zhang Tinghu), who, due to conflicts with his father Wuxiong (played by Li Xingwen), takes a job with his friend Gui Zai (played by Li Mingcang) at a hostel to earn money and move out of the house. Unexpectedly, they find that one of the rooms they are cleaning has a person who hanged themselves, filled with ominous Thai symbols. Furthermore, the landlady (played by Wu Yirong) behaves strangely, and the entire hostel is shrouded in an atmosphere of death that envelops Guanyu.
