A group of Southeast Asian illegal immigrants goes through hardships to arrive in South Korea, but nearly all the immigrants in the container die, with only one person managing to escape into the bustling city while dragging their weak body. Unbeknownst to them, this person carries the deadly swine flu virus, and within just one day, the virus quickly spreads to every corner of the city. Many are unknowingly infected, bringing the shadow of death to those around them. Beautiful doctor Kim Eun-ha (played by Sooyoung) is a single mother who recently had a car accident but was saved by firefighter Kang Ji-soo (played by Jang Hyuk). Unfortunately, she faces harsh criticism from her boss for losing important research materials. During this time, the brother of a smuggler from Korea is admitted to Eun-ha's hospital for treatment of the flu, and the diagnosis finally reveals the origin of the flu, with the container filled with corpses undoubtedly becoming the key to tracing the source of the disease. Shortly after, the swine flu virus geometrically explodes and spreads, leaving the previously peaceful public facing an unprecedented disaster…
