In the suburbs of London in 1977, three boys obsessed with punk music wander the streets all day, trying to look cool. One day, they learn that the local punk spiritual leader is throwing a party, and the naive boys decide to crash it to flirt with girls, only to accidentally stumble into an alien party. Instead of flirting with girls, they fall in love at first sight with an alien girl. To showcase the love of Earthlings, a 48-hour Earth punk experience begins! This film is adapted from Neil Gaiman's short story of the same name, directed by John Cameron Mitchell, who previously gained fame with "Hedwig and the Angry Inch." He cleverly combines the comedy elements of nerds flirting and aliens arriving, adding punk music and rebellious spirit. Nicole Kidman transforms into a silver-haired punk godmother, screaming that rock will never die; Elle Fanning, playing the alien girl, shifts from innocent to a sexy, smoky punk girl, creating a strange romantic relationship with rising star Alex Sharp against a psychedelic and bizarre visual style.
