In the artistic capital of Paris, several destitute artists live in a low-income neighborhood. They include an Albanian painter, an Irish composer, and a French playwright. Brought together by fate, they persist in their creative endeavors despite their dire living conditions, yearning for social recognition one day. Nevertheless, they remain optimistic about life and long for love, helping each other and striving hard. Finally, an opportunity arises, and the appearance of a provincial girl named Mimi brings subtle changes to their lives. The painter falls in love with her, but soon, he is expelled for illegal entry. After some hardships, with the help of friends, he returns to Paris as a freelance artist. Not only does his career take a turn, but he also wins Mimi’s love. However, good times are short-lived; their magazine company goes bankrupt, and the three return to square one, facing an even more tragic fate awaiting them….
