In the early 1980s, Spain was undergoing significant transformation, and in the swamps of the Guadalquivir Valley, a remote town became the site of an extremely brutal murder of a young girl. Detective Pedro (Raúl Arévalo) from Madrid and his partner Juan (Javier Gutiérrez) were assigned to investigate this case. However, the murder was not as straightforward as the feudal and conservative local residents believed; the two gradually discovered that it was part of a series of missing girl cases. They were likely confronting not just a single cruel murderer, but an entire organization. As they received crucial clues from the victim's mother (Nerea Barros), the case became even more baffling. During the investigation, Pedro also uncovered Juan's hidden past, and it became increasingly concerning to see the corruption in society, as well as the poverty and indifference of the town's people. Both faced immense challenges.
