"Legal Injustice" is more dramatic than its predecessor. An elderly prostitute is frequently blackmailed by a domineering thug, and later faces an even larger extortion, ultimately driven to kill the thug in desperation. A nun from an orphanage seeks out Liu Zhipeng to reveal the secret of her identity and requests that he defend her biological mother once again. However, there is a deep-seated animosity between the judge, the prosecutor, and Liu Zhipeng. In court, this ill-fated mother and son are completely isolated and helpless; can justice be served under the law?
