In an accident, Ah Ren (played by Sammo Hung) unfortunately loses his life, but by a stroke of luck, he comes back to life. However, the difficulty of being alive again leads Ah Ren to wish he had never awakened because he discovers that his penis is missing! After much investigation, Ah Ren learns that his "little bird" has been donated to a wealthy man named Mike (played by Tony Leung Chiu-Wai), so he seeks him out to try to reclaim what rightfully belongs to him. With Mike's help, Ah Ren's career begins to pick up, and as they interact more, a friendship unexpectedly develops between the two. Ah Ren's mother suffers from dementia, and before she loses all her memory, he hopes to let her see the birth of his next generation, so he takes Mike to court. However, Mike mysteriously disappears without a trace.
