Lion dancing is very popular in southern martial arts schools, with its own set of rules. If one oversteps the bounds during a lion dance, it can easily lead to disputes between martial arts schools. The Zheng Tian Shou Martial Arts School has a feud with the Lu Zheng Fu Martial Arts School due to provocation related to lion dancing. Another school owner, Huang Qi Ying (played by Gu Feng), and his son Huang Fei Hong (played by Liu Jia Hui) attempt to mediate, but to no avail. Huang Fei Hong and Wang Yin Lin (played by Mai De Luo) from the Zheng school are good friends, and they agree to a contest with a third party to determine their martial arts skills.
