Jiang Xuan (played by Wen Zhuo) and Meng Weiwei (played by Zhu Jiaxi) meet in a bar, and their mutual attraction quickly leads them to become a couple. As time goes by, their feelings for each other continue to deepen, and they eventually decide to live together. Through an introduction by Jiang Xuan's sister, they move into a rental apartment, where they find something oddly out of place: a red oiled paper umbrella.
