The story takes place in Hazzard County, Georgia, where Luke (Johnny Knoxville) and Bo (Seann William Scott) are two brothers who share a deep bond. The two aimless siblings spend their days goofing off at their Uncle Jesse's (Willie Nelson) farm, having no proper jobs. One day, Luke and Bo accidentally discover a plot by Sheriff Hogg (Burt Reynolds) and Deputy Coltrane (David Koechner) to take over their farm, driven by the precious minerals hidden beneath it.
