Shen Zhiqiang (played by Li Yaoxiang) applies for his wife Yun (played by Guan Baohui) to settle in Hong Kong so they can see each other every day. However, he fears she might be taken away by someone else, so he keeps her locked at home. When Yun wants to go out, Shen Zhiqiang agrees to let her call her friend Hong to accompany her. Later, Hong takes Yun out and dresses her up beautifully. While out, Yun accidentally meets a man named Lang, who is captivated by her beauty. Upon returning home, Shen Zhiqiang suddenly becomes emotionally agitated after seeing Yun's outfit. Unable to bear this abusive treatment, Yun decides to follow Hong's advice and go to a bar to relax. At the bar, she encounters Lang again, and their feelings gradually develop. Ultimately, unable to endure Shen Zhiqiang's abuse any longer, she decides to leave him. In a chaotic scene, she kills Shen Zhiqiang and escapes with his money.
