Indifferent faces, a bustling crowd, splashes of red dotting the cold streets of Prague, allowing warmth to flow amidst the hurried intersections. The station is indeed a place of sorrowful farewells, where the father, a railway switchman (played by Vladimír Javorský), holds his son Rado (played by Ladislav Ondrej) as they weave through the crowd of parting people, witnessing their joy and sorrow as they bid farewell to relatives, lovers, and the cities that have left their footprints. The life of the father and son is simple and unadorned; their happiness has never been diminished by the incompleteness of their family. The son hopes to visit his father's workplace the next day, never expecting it to be a promise that would change many lives... This film won the Best Film Award at the 2003 Palm Springs International Short Film Festival and the Crystal Heart Award at the 2003 HeartLand Film Festival.
