The story takes place in the bustling metropolis of New York, where Maddy (Cassi Thomson) originally planned to walk down the aisle with her loving fiancé. However, at this critical moment, her fiancé cheats on her with her best friend. To overcome the disappointment she faced in her relationship, Maddy decides to shift her focus to Bob (Matt Dallas), who had once pursued her. At this time, Bob has become a somewhat famous photographer and is set to return to his hometown in a week for his photography exhibition.
